Adam Phillips

My name is Adam Phillips. I am an Eastbourne based music tutor from the Scottish Highlands. I specialise in the teaching and playing of Irish/Scottish fiddle as well as classical and electric violin. I have  experience tutoring all age groups. My youngest student is three and a half and my eldest is seventy. They describe me as a friendly, inspiring and person-centred tutor. I also work in mental health and I am said to really ‘lift’ my students self-esteem by creating a warm, collaborative and therapeutic teaching environment. I allow students to go at their own pace. The first lesson is free and usually involves the student and myself working on designing a package of learning that is individually tailored for them. I am also available as a tutor for out of school music lessons. My fees are very reasonable and I have a completely clean and up to date CRB and driver’s licence. I can travel.
