WP Design Genies is a team of creative designers and developers specialising in WordPress website design for coaches and consultants. We are based in the UK and have built numerous WordPress websites for coaches and consultants with ecommerce functionality and private membership areas. What’s in the name?

WP Design Genies stands for 2 things:

1 WordPress Design Genies because we use WordPress to create blogs and websites for our clients, and

2 Web Presence Design Genies because we masterfully craft your online presence with an impactful website, social media links and online marketing strategy!

Our story

WPDG started as one of the services provided by a well-known Virtual Assistant business TJConsulting. We used to offer WordPress creation and maintenance services, the demand grew month on month, so eventually we decided to create a separate offering and a separate brand.

The idea has been brewing in our heads since May 2010 but we really decided to go ahead with it in November 2010, when Tamara joined the Athena network as “Wordpress blogs and websites” member.

The family-run business is managed by Tamara (client ambassador, project manager and problem solver) and James (technical support guru, Photoshop designer and HTML/CSS expert). We also have Diane, Charlotte, Emily and Lawrence in our team – who help clients with social media marketing, database administration and proof-reading.

We offer 4 main services:

• WordPress Setup: installation of the WordPress system on your hosting, purchasing of suitable hosting on your behalf, set up of the system, installation of plugins and a number of free themes for your to choose from.
• WordPress Design: customisation of a free theme to suit your needs (custom header design, custom background, changing of colours and fonts) or design of a custom WordPress theme encompassing your branding and requirements.
• WordPress Training: individual or group training on how to use WordPress.
• WordPress Support: ongoing maintenance of the website, update of plugins, creation of new pages, SEO, backups, adding new functionality such as:
  • Premium Membership Area (Wishlist Member)
  • Integration with PayPal or 1ShoppingCart
  • Theme enhancements
  • Social media integration
  • Newsletter subscription integration
  • Advertising links integration
