I started to use Twitter to promote my business in March 2011 I learnt very slowly, asking questions of other Mumpreneurs as I went along. I wish this E-book was available then, as this book has everything you want to know when starting out and is a great way to fast track you to success on Twitter. It is full of screen shots, showing you what to do and is an easy read, which you can refer back to. It is great value at under £5.
The book includes easy step by step instructions on:
- Setting up your Twitter account
- How to tweet
- How to use hashtags and some of the common hashtags such as #ff
- Who to follow
- How to interact
- Why and how to use Lists
- How to Direct Message someone
I particularly like the examples of Mumpreneurs to follow on Twitter, which gives you an idea of some people to follow and interact with. The mini case studies of mumpreneurs that are using Twitter and how they use it within their businesses is also an interesting part of the book as lot of people initially think of Twitter as being for celebrities.
Lots of businesses start out on Twitter and don’t know how to use it. They then get disheartened because no one is following them and give up or just link their Facebook page to Twitter. This E-Book helps educate people that Twitter isn’t a quick fix, that you need to learn how to use it and put the time into building relationships with your followers.
I would highly recommend this E-Book to anyone starting out on Twitter.
