Using Article Marketing to Build Your List – Doable 21

Article marketing isn’t as big as it used to be but it is still a good way to build your list.  A lot of people used to use EzineArticles before Google changed its algorithm to say that you couldn’t have duplicate content on the web.  You used to be able to write a blog post and then take the blog post and publish it on EzineArticles, and the hundreds of other article sites that used to be around. At the bottom of your post or in the author box you would invite people to come back to your blog to find out more information or invite them to go directly to your landing page. Sadly, it isn’t quite as easy as that anymore.

You can still use a blog post that you have written but you need to change it up so that it isn’t exactly the same as what was published on your blog.

These seem to be the most popular article marketing websites:

  • Ezinearticles.com

  • GoArticles.com

  • ArticleCity.com

  • Buzzle.com

  • ArticleBiz.com

Each one will have its own guidelines for submission so you will need to look at them individually and decide which ones are going to be the best ones for you.  These are more generic sites, covering a large range of topics.  Search for article sites that are specific to your niche.  They might be a better option to use as the people visiting those sites are specifically looking for articles on specific topics.

The other good thing about having articles posted is that people can take your article and use it on their website.  This leads to more exposure for you as they need to have a link to where the original article is from.

Have you ever done article marketing?  I would love to hear your experiences in the comments below.
