Valentines Day Craft Ideas
Hello! It has indeed been a while … things get so busy over at Red Ted Art, but it is great to come back though and share a quick round of sweet Valentine’s post.
It all depends of course on whether Valentine’s is your thing. To be honest it, is NOT mine.. as I strongly believe that you should tell loved ones that you love them at any time of year. However, it is of course lovely to have a little prod every so often… So. Let this be YOUR prod!
First up are our “love” Whoopies Pies, I made them with the children a few weeks back and we decided to share them with our neighbours – they were very well received. They taste just as nice “not heart shaped”. So come and take a look and have a go. In fact writing about them makes me want to make more. Mmmh.
Heart Shortbread dipped in Chocolate
More love inspiration from our Shortbread Chocolate Hearts. We made these in the summer “just because” and Daddy LOVED them. The recipe is incredibly easy and versatile and definitely worth having a go!
Don’t think you are creative? Don’t think you have the time? Think again, this is a lovely Guest Post showing you how to make this simple rag heart. Just use some old fabric scraps, some wire.. and away you go. Would look nice as decoration in a little girl’s room too!
Here is a really cute and simple card for the kids to help you with. They get to practice their lacing skills and you or Daddy get a lovely home made card. Perfect. Come check it out.
