A few words about me..

Hi I’m Karen. I’m mum to a lively toddler, happily married to a wonderful guy and we live in Brentwood, Essex. I love handbags and shoes, I have an obsession with Skechers. I love gadgets, even my toaster goes beep when it’s ready. I like to go running. I have a weakness for eating out and I have a set of scales that creak when I get on them. I have a cat called Cookie, a gardener called Rob, the number for a good babysitter, a tidy house and a pile of Tesco vouchers I don’t know what to do with. I’m a West Ham fan, I have an eclectic taste in music and an unopened packet of biscuits that are calling to me. I consider myself a continuous improver. In a sense that means I’m a perfectionist, that nothing is ever quite good enough but in another way it means that I consider everything as a challenge. The way I see it, everything is worth improving even if it’s just for the sake of it. My motto (if such things still exist) is: ”If you don’t like it, change it.” This applies to everything: a job, a project or the colour of a wall. It’s ok to change your mind, or to want something different after a while. I have actually been making jewellery for myself for years. A necklace and matching bracelet to match a wedding outfit perhaps, or a glamorous dress. Other people have always complimented it so I thought I’d put it out there for everyone else to enjoy.
