I am an ex teacher who then worked as an independent distributor for a children's book company for 7 loyal years. After they moved the goal posts, I decided to spread my eggs into many baskets and now run multiple businesses which I have combined together as a shopping mall called Lyn's Biz. When I was criticised for running multiple businesses, I decided to enter myself for a National Mumpreneurs award and was delighted to win the Best Saleswoman category for 2010.
