A few words about me..

I’d been a Chartered Physiotherapist teaching Clinical Pilates for over 11 years when I fell pregnant with my first daughter. Even though I knew the theory behind the changes that take place during Pregnancy and Postnatally… the reality was still a surprise - my posture changed, my body ached from long hours of sitting feeding, and my ‘me time’ was spent catching up on sleep! 5 years on, as I set up Sussex Physio Pilates™ (with the aim of delivering the highest level of Physiotherapy and clinical Pilates care), I wanted to share what I knew as a Physio, and as a clinical Pilates teacher, but also what I’d learnt about looking after your body as a Mum. The aim was therefore to bring accessible and supportive Pilates classes to local Mums – whether pregnant, post-natal or with little (or not so little) ones - To help Mums find a little ‘time for you’, de-stress and to reconnect with their bodies through Pilates. ….hence the birth of Mummy does Pilates™
