www.What On 4 Me Awards 2011whatson4me.co.uk has launched the  2011 awards celebrating the ‘crème de la crème’ of UK clubs, classes and activities

We all engage in some type of local activities and these awards give you a chance to say “A BIG THANK YOU” to all of the instructors, tutors, event organisers, community centres, social clubs, pubs, bars, restaurants, Days Out and attractions that enrich our lives each week!  There’s no better praise for these dedicated people than a nomination from you!

The What’s On 4 Me 2011 Awards has 8 exciting awards, so there is something for everyone!

  • Most Outstanding Activity Instructor (open to any individual running a group, class or activity for adults)
  • Most Outstanding Learning Tutor (open to teachers of courses for adults)
  • Best Activity Provider (open to any club, association or group providing classes or activity for adults)
  • Best Local Sports, Health or Fitness Group (open to clubs, groups or individuals running sports, health or fitness classes for adults)
  • Best Local Socialising Group (open to clubs, groups or individuals running socialising events for local adults)
  • Best Entertainment Activity (open to clubs, groups or individuals who run regular entertainment events for adults)
  • Best Volunteering Group (open to groups and organisations who run regular volunteering activities for adults)
  • Best Day Out or Attraction (open to organisations around the UK who cater for adult Days Out or Attractions)

From July 1st to the end of August 2011, you can log onto http://www.whatson4me.co.uk/awards.asp to nominate.

Online voting for all awards will run from September 7th to November 7th 2011 and everyone who nominates or votes will have the chance to win £100 in Leisure Vouchers.

What’s On 4 Me owner Marilyn Bradshaw adds ‘We are so excited about our 2011 Awards and nominations are flooding in – it’s such a privilege to see the impact these groups and individuals have on the daily lives of people throughout the UK and we know it means so much to the nominees to be recognised in this way’
