10 Tips How to Organize Your Life at Home @ForAnyWoman


 

  1. Nice and tidy house – who is doing what? Allocate certain chores to each member of the family and ensure that they are completed in a timely manner.
  2. Bathe or shower daily – Start your day off with a lovely shower or bath! A fresh start to the day will keep you in a good mood until it is time to put your feet up and sleep!
  3. Organise your finances – bills, mortgage, loans, whatever outgoing expenses you have – make sure they are paid on time. If you have debts, or just need help organising your finances, there are many serviced available through the government and privately. Always get advice as it can really help. You can contact the National Debt Line (free), Citizen Advice Bureau  (free), Money Advice Service (free) or any other consultants (a small fee).
  4. Shopping habits – Create a list of all the things you require when you go shopping. You can do this on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. It will make your shopping more organised, save you precious time and if planned properly, can be very cost effective also.
  5. Waste sorting, did you know it helps to stay motivated? Try this once and you will find yourself doing it for the rest of your life! Recycling should be a part of your daily life. It will keep you motivated and make you feel like an active member of the community – helping the environment helps the future generation!
  6. Gardening – Take out some time to clean your garden, keeping it looking fresh and pretty. A bit of gardening will take you away from your daily routine, relieve your stress, and of course, help you get a tan in this great British summer!
  7. Washing, dishwashing, ironing   – The basic daily chores which no one really enjoys doing. Share out the responsibility with family members. Create a time table so one member of the family does not find they are doing these chores day in, day out. Make the most out of the technology we have – washing machines and dish-washers. They save us so much time! If you do not have access to this, try playing your favourite songs while you do your chores!
  8. Family dinner, let’s make cooking easy– Sometimes cooking everyday feels like too big a task and can be tiring. Try having a take away once in a while, or go visit your family and friends for dinner! Get the kids involved – it is a great and enjoyable learning experience for them too! If you do not have kids, ask your partner to help out. Try to recreate “Come Dine With Me,” with your friends and family! It’s fun, exciting and motivates you to cook beautiful food!
  9. Phone calls – Do not ignore your phone calls as they may be very important. However, try to practice keeping two phones, one for work and one for personal use. Once you are at home, switch off your work mobile, so that you can enjoy your time with your loved ones.
  10. Social networking – Take out some time for social networking. It is always great to meet people, share experiences and blow off some steam. If you have a family then by all means, spend time with them. Children grow up faster than you can imagine and every moment with them is precious. Otherwise, go out with your partner, do things that excite you and keep your conversations flowing with fullness!
