The season-long Strider World Cup™ series gives children aged 2 to 5 yrs the chance to compete in friendly competition using the revolutionary Strider balance bike and they capture the imagination of the kids at a very early age.  All events are free to enter and equipment is available to borrow so all that’s needed is enthusiasm – the confidence, co-ordination and balance will come naturally!  Now the hunt is on our own Champion to represent us and be sent on a paid trip to the World Championships in Florida, USA in October

Winners from the race 12/02/12The inaugural UK race was held in London in February and despite the cold, all the riders showed off their skills, admired their peers and had great fun – despite envious glances from the older kids!

More racing dates include the “big one” at the mecca of cycling here in the UK – The National Cycling Centre’s own BMX track on 30th June, 2012 and the calendar also includes family fun rides around the grounds of the historic Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.

About the Strider World Cup™
The Strider Cup™ and Strider World Cup™ events are play experiences designed to let toddlers and young kids age 18 months to five years old explore the world on two wheels. Whether it is test riding a Strider™ No-Pedal Bike for the first time or racing Striders on a dirt track with other toddlers, Strider World Cup™ events have something for every family interested in giving their child a head start. Balance, coordination, and confidence all develop naturally when children experience group play and friendly competition on Striders. Strider is a family run business, the bike’s inventor Ryan McFarland developed the product out of frustration of unsuitable products for his own children and Strider’s main passion is seeing the smiles these bikes bring to kids faces.

About Strider™ No-Pedal Bikes
If your toddler can walk, your toddler CAN ride a STRIDER™! Avoid tricycle tip-overs and stabiliser wobbles. Go straight to riding on TWO wheels. STRIDER™ No-Pedal Bikes help toddlers age one to five years old learn balance and coordination BEFORE pedalling, which develops glittering confidence and amazing bike handling skills. So ditch the tricycle and training wheels, and teach your child to ride a bike sooner, better, and safer with a STRIDER™.
