LOCAL COMPANY WINS IN NATIONAL FAMILY-FRIENDLY BUSINESS AWARDS SCHEME

The winners of the prestigious mumandworking 2011 Awards have just been announced – and Kerri Lister was one of the 7 national winners!

The 2011 mumandworking awards are organised by www.mumandworking.co.uk and reward, recognise and celebrate the companies and individuals that make flexible working possible. The awards highlight those shining examples which prove that family-friendly employment not only supports family life but gives real benefits to the companies and businesses involved.

The awards were hosted by the fabulous inspirational coach Alexandra Watson as seen on the X-Factor, across the national press and founder of the ‘Happiness System at Work. There were a wealth of exciting categories embracing the full employment spectrum – from working parents, flexible employers, mumpreneurs/parentpreneurs alongside 2 new awards for the best start-up of the year and the best growing business and Kerri Lister, Owner of www.BuyStudentArt.co.uk  from Addlestone, Surrey  was winner in the Self Employed Parent of the Year category.

BuyStudentArt is an online art gallery, which sells fresh, unique and affordable artwork to customers wishing to buy something a bit different.

Kerri, from BuyStudentArt said: “I was over the moon to have won and this really is a fabukous achievement which I am going to enjoy”.

The esteemed judging panel, many of whom were award winners themselves are also all business experts, real achievers in their field and who fully support and examplify the flexible, family-friendly working model.
